DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the East Field on Tuesday\, August 3rd (beginni
 ng at 6:30 pm). This will also be a Business Meeting.\n\nAgenda:\n\n 	Boar
 d reports/Q&amp\;A\n 	Ratify/elect Officers\n 	Show and Tell\, &nbsp\;and\
 n 	Night flying\n\nThe sole business item on the agenda of the meeting is 
 to ratify the current slate of officers\, excluding the Vice President. I 
 say ratify because\, as of this writing\, I am not aware of any new candid
 ates other than for Vice President. Chip Aydelott is stepping down as VP a
 nd Bruce Verwest is presently our only candidate. If you are interested in
  running for office (for the remaining 3 months of the 2021 term)\, please
  contact the nominating committee (see separate advertisement in this NL).
 \n\nIt does not escape me that this may seem a little silly (i.e. holding 
 the 2021 election with only 3 months remaining in the term). The reasons w
 e are doing it\, are because: that is what we (as a Board) agreed to do\; 
 and\, that is what we promised (to you all) that we would do. In addition 
 to that\, we do have a new candidate for VP that has been patiently waitin
 g in the wings. This is new ground for all of us and (obviously) we expect
 ed to do this quite some time ago. Things just did not quite work out as w
