We need to lay down new geotex for the West Field. Please help if you’re available. Jeffco workers will be out to help us also.
There will be water, hand sanitizer, masks, and other tools available, but please bring the following:
- Knee pads
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Gloves
- Face mask (required)
We will be following the social distancing and any other requirements. Please don’t come if you feel sick or are uncomfortable being around people.

Big Bird Fly-In

COME ONE COME ALL.
Bring the biggest airplane that you have and enjoy a fun day of flying and friendship. Bring your own food and drink.
No restrictions on aircraft size or power. Pilot’s meeting at 9:00am. $5 landing fee.
- The Big Bird event is open to both Club and non-Club participants.
- The event is limited to the first 25 people that show up.
- Jefferson County residents and visitors are required to wear a mask or cloth face covering when in public settings when unable to maintain 6 foot social distancing.
- For the day, maintain an “open gate” policy.
Vern Lake Float Fly

Long Lake Ranch Park, Vern Lake, Arvada, CO, 80403
Come join us at Long Lake Ranch Park for a float fly on Vern Lake. It’s free to watch and has a small landing fee for pilots. A small raft is also available if there are any “mishaps.” 2.4GHz frequency will only be allowed.
